Swapping gossip is one of the main activities that goes on at Laurel Mills and co-owner Mary Frances Fannon is just fine with that.
“She keeps everybody happy,” said Fannon,” as she paid kudos to her long-time worker Geannie Corbin who greets customers with a warm and sincere smile.
“I’ve had three different couples come in who five not far from here but didn’t know we we here,” said Corbin. “We’re very excited about this recognition.”
One of those happy customers is Frankie Breeding, who was happily drinking his morning cup of coffee, before heading off to work.
“I live in Rappahannock but I sometimes have jobs that take me three hours from here,” said Breeding who still makes time to visit one of his favorite haunts.
