Provide consumers, consumer families, and other service providers with information on community services and resources supporting the three disability areas. Represent Department to public through community education presentations and coordination of three disability awareness campaigns per year: Represent Department as a member of several community organizations and serve as consumer relations point person. Assist in revision and development of human rights policies and procedures for Department, receiving and assisting in investigation and resolution of consumer human rights complaints, providing Human Rights training to Department staff, and providing staff support to the Human Rights Committee while serving as a member. Bachelor's degree in education, social work or related field and two years experience working with general public and.professional service providers. Master's degree in related field preferred.
