Last week to be
listed in travel guide

Anyone interested in promoting Rappahannock County tourism has less than one week to submit attractions, events and businesses to be listed in the 2008 Virginia Is For Lovers Travel Guide.
Wednesday is the deadline for submissions to the guide, l, which is produced in cooperation with the state-funded Virginia Tourism Corporation. More than 700,000 copies of the magazine-style guide are printed each year and distributed to prospective tourists.
Rappahannock was not included in last year's guide. The Inn at Little Washington was plugged in the beginning of the Northern Virginia section and the county's wineries were listed in the wine section, but the publication included no specific beading for Rappahannock, as it did for other Virginia counties.
