Obituaries
especially her applesauce cake, pound cake, and her homemade baked macaroni and cheese. She loved to share stories and old pictures with everyone. Her happy spirit, her love for God, sense of humor and laughter will make her memory immortal. She has left us to go home.
Survivors include her three children: Jean Welch and her husband Mike of Sperryville, George Woodard, Jr. of Washington, Va., and Tommy Woodard, Sr., and his wife Pam of Amissville.
Additional survivors include a sister, Elizabeth Carder of Culpeper, and two brothers; William H. Woodard of Albany, OR., and Russell Woodard of Front Royal, eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, three sisters; Emma Coppage, Lorelle White and Maude Nethers and one grandchild Michael E. Welch, Jr.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, August 8, at the Clore-English Funeral Home Chapel, Culpeper, with Pastor
