The Work of Byron Katie is four questions and a turnaround, which is a way of experiencing the opposite of what you believe. Anyone with an open mind can do it. A free, informal introduction to the use of this Inquiry in your life will be presented by Barbara Heile, a graduate of the nine day School for the Work on August 10 from 7:30-9 p.m. at 95 Harris Hollow Road. The Work is a powerful tool for peace on Earth, which begins right now as we end the war within. Learn to identify and question the thoughts that cause all the suffering in the world. Softball Registrations

Piedmont Softball Association, Inc., is now conducting fall ball season registrations for all interested area girls born anytime in 1988 through 2001 (five years old through 18 years old as of January 1, 2007). PSA is a girls’ fast pitch softball league with programs offered for all skill levels.

Registration dates are Saturdays, August 11 and August 18. from 9 a. m. to 11 a. m., and Wednesday, August 15, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. All will be held inside Bill Payne Auction Gallery. Rt. 211.
