Pursuant to Section 170-129 of the Rappahannock County Code and Section 15.2-2204 of the 1950 Code of Virginia, as amended, notice is hereby given that the Board of Zoning Appeals for Rappahannock County, Virginia, will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, August 22, 2007 at seven-thirty in the evening in the Courthouse in Washington, Virginia, in order to consider 1h following application:
SU 07-07-01 Wayne C. and Debra Jean Welter, owners of Oil acne located at 127 Tiger Valley Road, Washington (Tax Map 29, Parcel TOP, zoned A -Agricultural, Hampton District), desire a Special Use permit to construct a family apartment far their daughter. The new dwelling will not be more than 200 feet from the existing dwelling. Use allowed pursuant to Coda Section 170-36A of the Rappahannock County Coda with addWonal standards under Code Section 17042G.
No applicant or other party in interest and no attorney tor an applicant or party in interest, shall initiate a contact with a member of the BZA far the purpose of conducting a private discussion, in person or by telephone, concerning the merits of any application, appeal, or other matter pending before the BZA. No member of the BZA shall participate in any such private discussion. Site Visits or similar contacts mitiated by BZA members shall not constitute such ex parte contacts.
A copy of the foregoing application is on file at the Zoning Office in Washington. Virginia, and is available tor public inspection. Monday through Friday, 8:30AM to 4:30PM. Said applications will be presented to the Rappahannock County Planning Commission at their regular meeting on Wednesday, August 15, 2007 at seven-thirty in the evening at the Rappahannock County Courthouse tor such recommendation as the Commission may wish to make pursuant to Section 170-55. if any. The above-named applicant, adjacent property owners, and any other parties desiring to be heard should be present at said meeting or should address their written comments to the Board of Zoning Appeals, do P.O.
