Nichols employs 25 staff members, one of whom is 2000 Rappahannock County High School graduate Chad Heddleston. The 25-year-old Sperryville native has been working for Nichols for eight years.
Nichols has very high standards for his staff He says guide positions with Teamlink and SMG have become the hottest summer job in Frederick, Md., where the company is based. But Nichols rarely takes applications, as most guides are hand-picked and invited to work for the company.
“We want to change the world, be it through the work we do with underprivileged, challenged children, the tourist from Spain or the corporate teams we develop,” Nichols said. “When each person is finished with one
