Fire & Rescue carnival
The annual carnival and parade will be held Wednesday - Saturday, August 15-18. The parade will be Friday evening through Flint Hid. Come every night to be with your neighbors and enjoy all the rides, games (including bingo), good food and music. Don't forget to purchase your raffle tickets for the pick up truck and heifer.

Monthly Meeting
Please join us at the RappFLOW office for our regular monthly meeting on Thursday, August 16 from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. This month the office has a great new selection of free information on a variety of topics related to watershed protection: riparian buffers, rain gardens, native plants, wildlife habitat and more! Ybu are invited to come and leam what RappFLOW is doing to protect our county streams and how you can help. Aug. 17: Auditions
for “The Crucible”
Performances will be October 19, 20,21,26, 27,28 and November 2, 3,4 by the Fauquier Community Theater will be held Friday, August 17 from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and Saturday, noon to 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the White Building at Vint Hill. Cutbacks, if necessary, will be held Sunday, August 19 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. If anyone has any questions on The Crucible in regards to the characters, etc. please contact Amanda Cansler, the director, at hero71978@embarqmail.com.
