The Battlefield Equestrian Society will host a freeze branding event Oct 6 and 7 at the Nokesville Equestrian Park. More than 55,000 horses are stolen each year in the Uix; freeze branding is a simple way to help identify ownership and prevent theft. Call for information: (571) 220-9234.
