The Farm-to-Table program showcases the school’s outstanding horticulture classes. The top bidder will receive a gift certificate for the 2008 spring plant sale. The business department, under the direction of Lisa Jones, will give certificates to the school store.
A tasty treat will come from the RCHS culinary department. Chef Mary Arthur will provide gift certificates for pies for Thanksgiving.
“Any food item is good,” Collins said.
Dr. Robert Chappell, the Rappahannock County Public Schools superintendent, graciously promised a one-year membership to Rapp-Fit, the high school’s fitness center. RCHS athletic director Bob Czekaj will give away free admission to one lucky bidder to all regular season home football games.
But highlighting the many programs at Rappahannock County High School will be just a small part of the auction.
