The Warrenton Hunt will host a rule Aug: 19 at the hunt kennels and /big. 26 at Merry Oak Farm. Start time is 5 p.m. and rides last 1-2 hours. Iaght refreshments follow. The cost is $25 for adults, $10 for juniors.

MS benefit
There will be a fundraiser Aug. 18 to benefit multiple sclerosis research. The Saturday event kicks off a series of team penning clinics to be held at Adams Livestock near Bealeton. The all-day event will be divided into clinics for beginners and experienced penners, and will further be divided into sections for juniors and adults. Sessions will be about 1 to 11/2 hours each and will include practice runs.
First-timers are encouraged to attend. The cost is $45.
