Casanova races Feb. 23
The Casanova Hunt Point-to-Point opens the spring steeplechase season in Virginia Saturday, Feb. 23, with 12:30 p.m. post time at the Buckland Farm course north of Warrenton.
Eight races are carded on the varied program, with flat, hurdle and timber races slated. There is also a tailgate competition, with categories for the best overall tailgate, most original, best “redneck” and a prize for the “best bribe."
Entry fees, which are $20, benefit historic Weston, home to the Casanova Hunt kennels.
