Last year the Rappahannock Association for the Arts and Community couldn’t get DreamGirls because it was nominated for so many Golden Globes and later Academy Awards. They withheld it from the small art theatres like ours and went for the big multiplex houses. Big audiences and big grosses ... but that’s Hollywood.
