“He’ll soon find that we may be in a small town, but with the amount of cases we have, this can feel like a big town,” Smith said.
“It’s the same everywhere,” Sisk added. “I know we’re going to be very busy.”
Smith said Sisk also has a great deal of training and is qualified to train other officers in the sheriff”s office. That will save taxpayers’ money, she said, because officers will not have to travel out of Rappahannock for training courses.
“Tony has a lot of years of experience,” she said. “It’s good to have a veteran officer with all those years under his belt.”
