after that. The camp had a reunion in New York every year, I usually didn’t go. But that year was different. I had written some 15 letters to Ginny since the summer ended, but hadn’t mailed one of them. And I hadn’t gotten a letter from Ginny either. But if we saw each other at the reunion, we could talk be together. Maybe she would even wear my shirt. Or kiss me again. I signed up to attend.
Still, I heard nothing from Ginny. And then, a few days before the reunion, I received an envelope postmarked “Larchmont, N.Y.” It was from Ginny.
