Provide support to After School program and facility supervision. Provide supervision of After School and/or Camp participants at various locations in accordance with department policy/procedure. Assist with planning/implementing age appropriate programs, activities for school age after school and summer [nograms. Assist with field trips. Assure state child care licensing standards met. Provide evening and weekend oversight of drop-m users, renters, participants according to program, facility and department policies/procedures. Enforce facility use rules/regulations as posted. Ensure •til participants have vacated facility and facility is secured before leaving. Assist with facility maintenance tasks, room set-up/take down to assure facility is consistently clean &b ready tor users. Able to work flexible schedule, to include afternoons, evenings, weekends. Summer hours will vary according to camp schedule. Requires High School Diploma. VA state licensing requires 6 months experience supervising children during recreational or educational activities. Prefer previous exp. working with public. Able to perform light maintenance tasks, such as set up of facility tables and chairs, mop floors, etc. Able to lift 50 pounds. Must have certification in First Aid. CPR for adult, infant & child, and TB test prior to beginning work. Criminal background and CPS check. Valid driver's license.
