“Our primary style for all camera operators is to tape the whole race from each position,” Fred Myer said. “One camera always tapes the post parade to document every horse that ran. We like to give two or three views of each race, and we may need every angle for replay of an infraction during the race.”

Myer’8 work is frequently used to back up a patrol judges own eyes or if the official can’t see where something allegedly went awry. This is very important as the purses get larger and horse and jockey records are being sought.
