Winners of Virginia’s unique Crystal Crown Series connecting five area judged pleasure rides were honored at last week’s Battlefield Equestrian Society awards brunch held in Haymarket.
The series is hosted by five area riding clubs which each organize a 10-mile, 10-obstacle trail ride at various venues throughout Northern and central Virginia.
Participants include local enthusiasts, and others who travel from Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Maiyland and New Jersey.
