Mr. and Mrs. Edward Goranson had as recent guests, Arthur Curry and Frank Brown of Baltimore, Mrs. Calvin Clatterbuck and Denise and Mrs. Charles Beatty of Front Royal.
Mrs. Shirley Shelton and her cousin, Mrs. Mary Mulkey of Lawrence, Kans., spent Friday afternoon in Winchester visiting Mr. and Mrs. Robert Shelton and family. Mr. Shelton is reported improved following a week’s illness.
A group of the young people of the Chester Gap Baptist Church hiked up the mountain, above the community, to Skyline Drive Saturday afternoon. Accompanying sponsors were Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Burke, Mrs. Doris Williams and Mrs. Carolyn Leake.
Mr. and Mrs. James E. Williams were in Falls Church Wednesday on business. Mr. and Mrs. John Kem of Vienna were Sunday visitors in the Williams’ home.
George Leonard Cain of Alexandria spent the weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Cain.

Mrs. James Fox, J and Denise, spent Friday afternoon with Mrs. Hank Malcolm at Reston where they were joined by Mr. Fox and Mr. Malcolm in the evening. Monday Mr. and Mrs. Fox and children visited Mr. and Mrs. Mike Latham in Alexandria.
