support. Your assistance, as again demonstrated in this Auction, is vital to our continuing program of community service.
The Rappahannock Lions desire to publicly acknowledge their gratitude to John Walker Jenkins and his employees for the donation of their expert services in arranging and conducting the auction. The use of John Walker’s facility and all services were donated to our club without recompense or commission of any kind and have enabled us to make the total proceeds available to help the youth of Rappahannock.
It is impossible to single out the many citizens who also made significant contributions by donating their property or participating in the sale. To each of you, our profound thanks for your support. You have helped us to realize some of the objectives of Lionism for community involvement and to give meaning to our slogan for this Lions year — “LIONS — PEOPLE CARING FOR PEOPLE”.
