Liz Scherschell, vicepresident of the group, added that Rappahannock Citizens for Better Education did not want to be considered a "political clique” and members had to be extremely careful not to create that impression.
Mrs. Mary Botts Quaintance asked if there would be time to prepare for a referendum on the method of appointing School Board members should Judge Snead’s appointments to the Electoral Board prove unsatisfactory.
Wiley replied that the Judge had until the end of June to act on electoral appointments while the referendum wouldn’t be held until November.
