Appearing at the Culpeper ' County High School at 8 p.m. on the night of November 3 will be the Richmond Sinfonia, as the first offering of the 1977-78 Culpeper Community Concert Association. The Sinfonia, under the musical direction of French conductor Jacques Houtm&nn, is the only folly professional full-time orchestra in Virginia. Comprised of outstanding musicians from conservatories and orchestras across the country, the Sinfonia is a “tightly knit, well disciplined ensemble, flexible in techniques and musicianship, and responsive ' to the interpretative aims of its conductor" (Richmond News-Leader).
