mittee assignments. I think that I can get legislation passed on issues that will help the people here—issues of roads, of programs for the elderly, of tax reform, and of budget management. The state could learn a lesson from some of the business people and housewives in this area— and that’s how to get a dollar’s worth of value for a dollar spent. That’s part of the message that I want to take to the legislature. And I believe that people who are interested in having more effective government will be voting on November 8th.”
