Benefit Party
A fund-raising Christmas party will be held at the Rappahannock Community Center on Friday, Dec. 16, from 9 p.m. until 1 a.m.; the admission will be SI.00 which will help to support the Center. An old ham will be given away that evening.
Any other donations to help support the Center will be greatly appreciated. Please make your checks payable to the Rappahannock Citizens’ League and mail or give to Mrs. Ethel Bailey, Secretary, or Mrs. Rachel Aylor, President, both in Washington, Va.
Scout's Citrus
Fruit Sale
Boy Scout Troop 36 of Rappahannock is taking orders for citrus fruit, including naval and hamlin oranges, pink and white grapefruit, tangelos and tangerines. A shipment of fruit will arrive December 15.
Anyone wishing to order fruit may do so by contacting any boy of the Scout Troop, or Scout leaders John R. Eastham, Washington 6753257 or Paul Nichols, Flint Hill 675-3500.
Profit from the fruit sales will support scout activities and projects.
