Dec. 2, was the home opener of the starting season for the Golden Panthers. The opponents were the Clarke County Eagles. This was a nondistrict game, but we’ve been playing them in recent years.
The Varsity guys came up on the short end, with the final score of 63-68. This is not to say that they played a bad game, for the guys were very consistent and fought hard throughout. the game.
