In reply to the article last week, “Why Don’t Children Learn”, I say give us more people who are willing to let others know what is going on. Keep it up, good citizen.
I also read ‘‘Women Responsible” which made me ai little sick to my stomach. The letter went on to say what so-and-so was doing. I wondered when people read this letter, what they thought the men in Rappahannock were doing. I guess they think the women have taken them off the stage of action and put their petticoats on them. Don’t get me wrong - there are times when women have to work and be the bread-winner, in many cases beyond our control.
I guess you have already said this one is not for the ERA. No, I am not. God never intended the woman to rule over the man. Let’s don’t ever pat ourselves on the back because we are seeing more women than men, in public places for this should not be. If more of our women would stay home and do what God intended them to do—caring for their children and giving them the love and attention they deserve to
