Lord Fairfax Community College students won’t have to pay tuition this winter quarter the day they enroll, but can wait until after the first of the year, C. Todd Smith, registrar, announced today.

College administrators, aware of seasonal financial burdens resulting from tuition costs and Christmas, made the decision to allow students who request it, to register for classes before Christmas but delay paying tuition until after the holidays.

Students interested in delaying payment must inform the Admissions Office when they register. The payment may then be made in person, or by mail, but must reach the College by 8 p.m., Tuesday, January 3, Smith explained.

Registration for returning students begins December 5. New students may begin f"1*1 " ■
