G. E. Doyle was a dinner guest Sunday of Dr. and Mrs. T. W. Armstrong in Culpeper. Mrs. Doyle accompanied her mother, Mrs. T. W. Latham, to National Airport where she left for Coldchester, Conn, to visit her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Milton Miller for two weeks. Mrs. Doyle spent Sunday and Monday nights with Mrs. Sandra Todd and Candy in Silver Spring, Md.
The Womans’ Missionary Union of Amissville United Methodist Church held its Christmas party and regular meeting Wednesday evening at the home of Mrs. Charlie Davis. Mrs. Elwood Dean was co-hostess with Mrs. Davis.
Miss Louise Anderson of Culpeper was a recent overnight guest of Mrs. Sarah Latham and family. Lynn Jones of Sperryville was an overnight guest Saturday and spent Sunday with Shannon Streagle.
Caroling Planned
Caroling in the Town of Washington is planned for December 23 with carolers meeting at Trinity Episcopal Church parish hall at 7:30 p.m. All are invited to join the group. If you can’t siftg, you can carry a lantern.
