Rappahannock Game Warden Jim Bankston presented two proposed "hunter control" ordinances prepared by Commonwealth Attorney George Davis to the Supervisors at last Thursday's Board meeting.
The ordinances, aimed at controlling illegal hunting on posted property, would (1) make it illegal to transport a loaded rifle or shotgun in a motor vehicle and (2) make it illegal to carry a loaded fire arm on a public right-of-way unless the individual has written permission to hunt from property owners on both sides of the road.
