On April 6, the Flint Hill Volunteer Fire and Rescue Squads were called to an automobile accident on Rt. 522 near Flint Hill; David Calisto was tal:en from the accident to Warren Memorial Hospital by the rescue unit. Also on April 6. Robert Jackson of Berryville was taken to Winchester Memorial Hospital from an r auto accident on Rt. 211 east of Sperryville by the Sperryville Rescue Squad.
On April 8, the Flint Hill Rescue Squad was on standby at the Old Dominion Hunt Point-to-Point at Ben Venue while their fire unit fought a brush fire on Rt. 647 outside Flint Hill. The Sperryville Rescue Squad carried Roger Rutherford from the home of Buddy Brown on Rt. 231 to Winchester Memorial Hospital, also on April 8.
