Bankston replied that the ordinances proposed here were exactly the same as those adopted two years ago in Culpeper County. (According to Culpeper Game Warden Lee Haupt, Culpeper achieved convictions on 30 of 31 citations during the first year “hunter control” ordinances were in force. Bankston reported earlier that this year’s conviction rate was running at about the same level.)
