The girls’ Varsity and J.V. track teams have been on a winning streak. The Varsity team has won two meets at Strasburg with high scores. The J.V. team has also won two meets, one against Strasburg and one against Montevideo and Stonewall at Stonewall. The Varsity girls will compete at Strasburg, Saturday, April IS, against a number of schools. Good luckl
The boys are also doing a good job and are putting out a lot of effort to be on top.
The Senior class is planting trees around areas of Rappahannock. They have worked on this project for the last two Saturdays. You can expect to see a greener county this year!
Bake Sale Successful
The Washington Ladies Auxiliary reports a very successful day April 1 with proceeds from their food, drink and baked sales’ stands amounting to S287. According to Ruth F. Clark, president, the Ladies Auxiliary would like to express appreciation to all who donated food, time and money that day.
