Burke Attends
Conference
Carolyn Burke, daughter of Mrs. Edna H. Burke of Castleton, represented Rappahannock County at the James Madison University Regional Conference for Future Business Leaders of America held Saturday, April 1. Carolyn, a junior at Rappahannock County High School, is a member of the Piedmont Technical Education Center chapter of Future Business Leaders of America.
Along with 700 other students, Carolyn participated in regional business skills contests, toured the University’s new Word t’rocessing Laboratory and vatched the world’s thampion typist, Cortez Jeters, type 150 to 225 words >er minute on his electric ypewriter.
