The Rappahannock girls continued their winning ways last week as the varsity track team overwhelmed Strasburg, 86 to 28. Highlights of the evening meet were sweeps in the hurdles, 880 yard run, long jump and all the relay events. Varsity coach Ann Spieker noted that most the varsity girls improved their performances over the previous week’s meet. If this trend continues, the lady Panthers may wind up scaring off all their opponents!
Event by event, Rappahannock’s winners in the April 5 contest against Strasburg were: Shot put—Rhonda Estes (1st).
