Membership
Drive
In Progress
The Culpeper Community Concert membership drive is now open to the general public. Family membership is $30; adult membership $12; student $6; head of household with children $18 and patron $50. Checks for tickets may be made payable to the Community Concert Association and mailed to Mrs. W. H. Lyne, Rt. 1 Box 64, Washington, Va. 22747.
The winter performance for the 1979-80 concert season will be a point recital with Ransom Wilson on flute and Nancy Allen on harp. Of all instrumental combinations, that of the flute and harp is probably the most extraordinary and beautiful.
Other performances for the _ concert year will be singer John Raitt and Bob Greene’s, The World of Jelly Roll Morton.
A bonus for new members this year is an opportunity to attend the Joffrey Ballet on May 16 at Culpeper High School. By paying an additional $2 for adults, SI for students or $5 for family, new subscribers can avail themselves of this opportunity. These same tickets may be used to attend concerts in Manassas and Fairfax. Where else can one find so much and get so much fine entertainment for so little invested.
