At the Rush River Company May 12 Mrs. Beyer will autograph her new book A Revolutionary Simple Way to Create Traditional and Original Patchwork Quilts, and will show her quilts and other creations.
Also at the open house other members of Rush River, a professional artisans’ cooperative, will exhibit pottery, handcrafted furniture by Peter Kramer, hand woven rag rugs, wrought iron, paintings and block prints.
Mrs. Beyer designs patchwork wall hangings and clothes and has exhibited at the National Textile Museum, Washington, the Arts Work Gallery, Sunriver, Ore., the Athenaeum, Alexandria. Woodlawn and Sully plantations. She has lectured and held workshops throughout the United States and Canada.
