Talent Night n

Planned

In an evening of amateur showmanship, the Amissville Ruritan Gub will bring the fans and fantastic together for their annual talent awards competition on May 12. The program is expected to bridge all aspects of showmanship, providing the splash and dash of music and drama by young actors from Rappahannock and nearby counties, according to a club spokesman.

Registrations for participants at elementary and high school level are being accepted through Robert B. Settle, chairman, telephone 937-4691. Prize money will be about $100.

As an extra sparkle or bonus, there will be a concert by the Bridgewater College Stage Band from Bridgewater. Tickets for the program are at a discount price before the show at $1.50 for adults and $1 for students. Admission at the door will be $2 for adults and $1.50 for students.

Show time is set for 7:30 at the Rappahannock Elementary School with a program scheduled to run about two hours.
