At a special meeting held Wednesday, April 25, social services director Elizabeth Buntin presented the Rappahannock supervisors with a 1979-80 welfare department budget totalling $181,278. The budget as a whole shows an increase of $7,622 from 1978-79. The amount of local money required, however, is only $246 more than in the current year.
