Willie Hackley returned home Monday from Fauquier Hospital after spending two weeks. Mrs. Rena Corbin, Mrs. Hester Poe and Irva Poe were visitors Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Corbin and family in Manassas. Mr. Corbin was recovering from injuries sustained in a traffic accident.
Lt. and Mrs. David Streagle, Shannon and Marc were in Harrisonburg Saturday to attend the TriState High School Jazz Festival at James Madison University. Lt. Streagle’s nephew is a member of the JMU Jazz Ensemble which performed with guest drummer Ed Shaughnessy.
Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Huff of Herndon and Sally Mann of McLean were overnight guests Saturday of Mrs. Sarah Latham and family. Ms. Mann was a caller Saturday evening of Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Payne.
Mr. and Mrs. F. L. Bowey spent Sunday in Falmouth with the Rev. and Mrs. Charles Kindred and family.
Mrs. Odessa Ficklin is a patient in Culpepei Memorial Hospital with a back injury.
