Streams Closed
Area trout streams will be closed to fishermen from Monday, May 14, through 5 a.m. on Saturday, May 19, for stocking, according to Jack M. Hoffman, chief of the Game commission’s fish division.
Scheduled for stocking on May 14 are the Robinson and Hughes Rivers in Madison County. On May 15, Big Stoney Creek in Shenandoah County and Garth Run and Rose River in Madison will be stocked.
