Honored

Rappahannock representatives joined more than 225 scouters and their wives at the annual Scouter Recognition Dinner in Steven Stephens City last week celebrating the 51st anniversary of the Shenandoah Area Council of Boy Scouts of America.

Russell L. Aylor, scoutmaster of Troop 65 in Sperryville, and James Bywaters, scoutmaster of Troop 123 in Washington, received Scouters Key training awards. Rev. Gale Titchenell, scouting commissioner for Rappahannock County and pastor of the Woodville Baptist Church, gave the benediction at the close of the program.

Rev. and Mrs. Ron Wiley and Mr. and Mrs. William “Yogi” Bear also attended the annual dinner.
