The monthly meeting of the Rappahannock Woman’s Club is scheduled for Tuesday, April 22 at 8 p.m. at the home of Lynne Baines. Members are invited to bring a guest who may be interested in club membership.

A special program will be presented on the history of the club, and its progress to the present time.

Those who will be bringing guests, as well as those who will be unable to attend, are requested to notify Mrs. Baines.

Following is a recipe for the meringue cookies which were so popular at the recent club fashion show:

PREHEAT OVEN TO 350 DEGREES

2 egg whites (at room temp.) two-thirds sugar Vi tsp. vanilla extract 6 drops peppermint extract Vi cup chopped pecans

1 cup chocolate bits
