Beat egg whites until they form stiff peaks. Add sugar gradually Add rest of ingredients. Fold in gently. Drop by heaping teaspoons onto ungreased aluminum foil on cookie sheet. (Shape of dropped cookies is actual shape of baked cookies swirl top with back of spoon if desired).
Put in oven. TURN OVEN OFF IMMEDIATELY. Leave cookies in oven 4 or 5 hours or overnight. DO NOT OPEN OVEN. Makes VA dozs. Double this recipe to make 3 dozen.
