Mrs. Emory was a medical doctor educated in England and both she and her husband were interested in hunting and horse sports.
Their library reflects their broad and varied interests, ranging from medical books to poetry to fiction to riding books.
The Friends of the Fauquier County Library as well as sale patrons are fortunate to be able to benefit from this donation.
Another treat at the sale will be handmade bookmarks. These are being made and donated to the sale by the local needleworkers guild.
