Wilma Wilson Wharton of Boston died Monday, April 7, 1980 at University of Virginia Hosprtal.Chjtffotttevllte*
Funeral services will be conducted today (Thursday) at 2 p.m. at Clore Funeral Home by the Rev. John S. Farrar. Burial will be in Culpeper National Cemetery.
Mr. Wharton was retired from the State Highway Department and he was an Army veteran of World War II.
He was born December 25, 1888 in Rappahannock County, son of the late George and Daisey Haynes Wharton. He was the husband of the late Elizabeth Grigsby Wharton.
Survivors include one son, Walter Wilson Wharton of Fredericksburg; one brother, George Wharton of Orange and a half-sister, Mrs. Robert Fincham of Culpeper.
Sisk
Howell Franklin Sisk, 71, of Rixeyville died Wednesday, April 2, 1980 at Culpeper Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday at Geest Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. David Lavery. Burial was in Hillcrest Memory Gardens near Jeffersonton.
Mr. Sisk, a native of Rappahannock County, was the son of the late George Elliott and Gertrude Peyton Sisk. He was a member of Alum Spring Baptist Church and a retired cabinet maker. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Kilby Sisk; a son, Howell Franklin Sisk Jr. of Rixeyville; two grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Laura Prescott of Falls Church.
