Pvt. Mark A. Hitt, son of1 Mr. and Mrs. Raymond E. Hitt of Castleton, recently completed the Automotive Repair Course at the U. S. Army Ordnance and Chemical Center and School, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md.
The course includes troubleshooting, repairreplacing, adjusting, and maintaining the mechanical, electrical, air-hydraulic systems and other major components and assemblies of wheeled and tracked vehicles. Instruction is also given on the performance of maintenance operations in a field environment.
Hitt has recently been assigned as an automotive repairman with the 190th Maintenance Company at Fort Hood, Texas.
