Mrs. Josephine Dodson Smith of Annandale died Tuesday,.!April I, 1980. * Burial was held Thursday at, Arlington National Cemetery.
She was born August 13, 1899 in Sperryville, daughter of the late Oscar Lee Dodson and Luella Barham Dodson. She was the widow of Earl Russell Smith.
She is survived by three sons, Earl Russell Smith Jr. of Fredericksburg, Andrew Joseph Smith of Miami, Fla. and Donald Bruce Smith of Pittsburgh, Pa.; two daughters, Kathryn Lee Lanier of Arlington and Audrey Jean Benner of Pittsburgh, Pa.; one sister, Mrs. Katherine Federline of Arlington; IS grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Robinson
Herman Guy Robinson, 51, of Waterlick, died Monday, March 31, 1980 at his residence.
Graveside services were conducted Thursday at the Williams Cemetery in Chester Gap by the Rev. William Alford.
Mr. Robinson was born in Cedarville in October 1928, a son of the late Ford Lee and Mamie Henry Haun.
Surviving with his widow, Katherine Churchwell Robinson of Mt. Rainier, Md., are his stepfather, Elias Wines of Chester Gap; four sons, Steven Michael Churchwell of Mt. Rainier, Md., Roger Robinson of Reliance, Clay Robinson and Bruce Glen Robinson, both of Front Royal; two daughters, Gina Michele Wymer and Brenda Kay Robinson, both of Front Royal; two half brothers, . Elias Waldo Wines of Chester Gap and Lester Ray Wines of Locust Grove; seven half sisters, Mae Engle of West Virginia, Marlen Wines of Front Royal, Virgie . Ubben, Rachel Williams, Hazel Williams, Helen Foster and Mazie Williams, all of. Chester Gap.
