JV Wins Two
The JV Panthers kept up their winning ways last Saturday in a doubleheader against Page’s junior Panthers.
Rappahannock started off early and built up a 9-1 lead by the third inning. Page finally woke up and began to fight back but ended up short as RCHS held on to win, 9-7.
Mike Leake was the winning pitcher in the first game and Mike Brown was credited with the save.
In the second game, Page maintained the momentum they built up in the final innings of the first game. They surprised Rappahannock by scoring ten runs in the first inning, helped by Rappahannock's five errors.
