Trout Stocking
According to the Virginia Commission of Game and Inland Fisheries, dates and locations of trout stocking operations for early May include the following area waterways: May 12—Robinson and Hughes Rivers in Madison, North and South Fork Moormans River and City Water Works in Albemarle, Big Stoney Creek in Shenandoah and Gooney Run in Warren; May 14—Passage Creek in Shenandoah, Lynch River and Swift Run in Greene; May 15—Cedar and Mill Creeks in Shenandoah, Piney Branch in Rappahannock and South River in Greene; May 16—Garth Run and Rose River in Madison.
Grigsby
Graduates
Navy Airman Recruit Sandra K. Grigsby, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. K. P. Grigsby of Woodville, has graduated from Basic Aerographer’s Mate School. The 15-week course at Chanute Air Force Base, 111. is designed to prepare students for duty as military weather forecasters. Grigsby studied basic meteorology, weather charting and the operation of standard meteorological and oceanographic measurement equipment. A 1978 graduate of Rappahannock County High School, she joined the Navy in October 1979.
