Ellis Raymond Burke, S3, of Front Royal died Monday, July 27, 1981, in Warren Memorial Hospital, Front Royal.
Funeral services were conducted Wednesday at the First Assembly of God Church in Front Royal by the Rev. Alden Yates and the Rev. Rebecca Knight. Burial was in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Burke was born September 9, 1927, in Huntly, a son of the late George B. and Molly Fincham Burke. A veteran of World War II. he was employed at Avtex Corp.
Surviving with his widow, Mrs. Margaret K. Burke, are three daughters, Naqcy Louise Horn, Katherine Marie Martin and Margaret Ann Williams, all of Front Royal; seven brothers, Eppie Burke of Front Royal, Conner Burke and Louis Burke, both of Lebanon, Pa.,
